Thank you to all of you, parents and families. You were all so supportive throughout the school year. Parents like you make all the difference in the world in how your children adjust to school and in all of their endeavors in Kindergarten. Have a wonderful summer!
I can't believe the last day is over. This year just flew by. I was lucky to have such a good group of students this year. They were good friends to each other and enthusiastic learners all year long. I just love seeing how much the students grow both personally and academically during their Kindergarten year. This class made amazing progress and I am confident they will all do well in first grade.

Today the students wrote adventure stories. They came up with some exciting ideas and made sure each story had a beginning, a middle, and an ending. Most stories also included a conflict and a solution. Look for it in the writing folder your child brought home today. We have also been doing some summer themed learning activities. Today children surveyed their friends about their castle building experience and graphed the responses (think Sid the Science Kid). They heard a story by Robert Munsch called The Sandcastle Contest and they made sandcastle projects. This afternoon our class saw the Tide Tones perform. Our class loved all of the animal characters. They were very excited to dance with the Middle School students at the end of the program. It has been a great week so far. It is hard to believe there are only two days left to go!
