No homework this year!
Some things you can do to ensure your child’s success are:
- Clean out your child’s folder every night.
- Review your child’s papers. Ask your child about them. For example, “How did you figure out this Math problem?” Or “why did you mark these pictures with an X?”
- Help your child say the alphabet.
- Help your child count aloud to 100.
- Review Folder inserts including nonsense words and sight words.
- Read stories together. Ask your child to listen for rhymes, point to letters they know, or find sight words as you read.
